What are you after this year?

As I get back into the swing of things, I’m trying to hold on to the sense of calm that I enjoyed this past weekend. Obviously I can’t spend every day hiking, snuggling the puggle, and listening to records, but I can go through my days with less anxiety. In spite of my reticence to do a full day’s work this week, I haven’t feel stressed at all. Yes, I love my job and it’s important, but it’s just work. There are a lot of BIG things I want to accomplish in 2018. I’ve set some serious goals, and it’s going to take time and hard work to make them happen. I’m going to need all the extra energy and focus I can muster. Stress, self doubt, and worry aren’t going to help me. This year, I’m running with the motto, “Doubt kills more dreams than failure ever will.” I love how it builds on what I’ve learned over the past several years, and gives me permission to go after those big reach goals. Failure is ok. Doubt, not going for it, worry – not on the menu. What are you getting after this year? Have you figured out what mindset is going to get you there? If you want to share your goals, motto, or big dreams for the year on the blog, pop me an email. We could all use a little inspiration! Sun over the Hudson]]>
